Well, that’s Blaugust all wrapped up and my take from this has been that while it was a lot of fun as a reader to get a lot more posts in my RSS feed. I’m not going to do the daily posts again. It’s just too much work, which is not what having this site should be for me. I know there’s a lot of effort put forth by the Blaugust organizers that you do not need to do this so I don’t blame them, but that’s the initial goal I saw and what I ended up sticking with. Anyway, glad I tried it but I’m not sure if I’ll officially participate next year.

thank you for the posts! take it easy. ❤
I enjoyed your posts a lot. Every year there’s this issue with people knowing the event isn’t about posting every day but somehow feeling they have to do it anyway and then burning out. There’ll be a post-Blaugust discussion about it like there always is but what can be done about is hard to see. As you say, we already make quite a song and dance about everything being optional and there being no targets and yet that 31 in 31 still seems to be at the front of everyone’s minds.
yeah haha. I don’t know if the goal just needs to be eliminated completely and just have a weekly goal or what. It’s 100% my fault but it’s still…there. idk!
Congrats on one a day! I’ve still gotta’ put up my final post for that achievement haha. It was a lot of fun, but if I do Blaugust again I’m shooting for a lower threshold like 5 or 10 posts. Doing 31 in a month was fun to do – once!
